Sorry for all those who missed it, but we had a most excellent time making Animal Frenemies (see the post below for more details about Frenemies in general or check out our original images here) with whoever walked into Paxton Gate for Kids on Valencia last Saturday. I think our first participant, Xula, got it best with her “elabird”. Its hobby: singing.

However, our personal favorite was when a little girl came in and Steve to draw something she could then color in. Her first choice, a gorilla, was inevitably going to look like a big black crayon blob, so we somehow got her to request a kitty.
Hmmmm… quite a shitty kitty, no?
Anyway, it was good clean fun working with them kids and them kind folks from Paxton Gate for Kids. We’ll be doing another event like this one there Saturday, July 18th , so if you missed this one, please come to our next! And as we’ve mentioned before– it’s kid oriented, but adult friendly.
And, we will soon have our original Frenemy Portraits framed and for sale at the store! We’ll let you know when that happens.
