To Timbuktu is Casey and Steven’s first book. Written by Casey, illustrated by Steven it tells the story of their first two years out of college spent living in Asia and West Africa.

Spaceheadz (Simon & Schuster, 2010)

Casey and Steven are also the Digital Team for Jon Scieszka’s middle grade series Spaceheadz. (Yup, same Scieszka.) It’s about a couple of aliens from the planet Spacheadz who have disguised themselves as two 5th graders and a class hamster. No, they are not especially intelligent. It doesn’t help that they’ve learned everything they know about Earth from TV and advertising.

And essential part of the spirit of the series is media literacy. Casey and Steven’s job is to develop the online world of all the characters. They maintain Major Fluffy’s blog and Twitter account, a Facebook profile, Flickr and YouTube accounts for the characters, stock their teacher’s website with fake 5th grade art, manage all the madness that is spaceheadz.com, and repeatedly laugh themselves stupid while putting up photos and videos on the Anti-Alien Agency website.

Casey and Steven are a design duo. They use a variety of handmade and digital elements to create unique results tailored to each client. Proficient in the Adobe Suite products like Photoshop, Illustrator and Design, they can come into your project at any stage—from laying out existing elements into a final product to helping you realize your project from its initial seed of an idea.

Sake Books

It’s a pretty simple series of events:

Casey and Steven drink some sake, Casey writes a word on each page, Steven watercolors some crazy stuff on those pages, Casey writes the rest of the words, they put em all together to make a little “Sake Book”.
